CANMeds Commmunicator Competencies

The Key and Enabling Competencies can be found as a ’Related Topic’ at the bottom of each page.  Like the other CanMEDS Roles, each Key Competency has  Enabling Competencies which further specifies the behaviours that will be expected  during evaluation and assessment.  Although the Key Competencies for the Royal College and Family Physicians are almost identical, the Enabling Competencies are quite different.  This highlights the differing perspectives of specialist and family physicians.
