What is Cancer?

Cancer is not one disease, it is many diseases that begin with the development of abnormal cells that divide out of control and can infiltrate and damage normal tissue. 

Cancer is a systemic disease with many etiologies, it is not one disease. It presents as a proliferative tumour with many different causes (viral, toxin, genetic).
