Amy is a 22 year old university student who has come to speak to you, a physician at the student health services because she believes that she may be pregnant.

When she missed her period last month, she bought a home pregnancy test which was positive.

She is shocked and cannot believe that she is pregnant since she has been taking the pill for 7 years.
